Karen Armstrong speaks on compassion in Menlo Park

Karen Armstrong, the noted writer, religious scholar, and founder of the Charter for Compassion, spoke last month to a special gathering in Menlo Park hosted by the Parliament of the World’s Religions. She spoke not only about the work of the Charter, but of the collaborative possibilities for work between the Charter and the Partner City Network of the Parliament. San Jose and Santa Clara County are members of the Partner City Network.
