Faith in the Workplace

ABC News ran a brief segment last month describing some ways that companies are providing for their employees to practice their religion in the workplace. Among the models presented are the creation of internal groups, providing prayer space, or even hiring a chaplain.

Many people feel that any religious accommodation is inappropriate in the workplace, since religion has the potential to be divisive. “Be sure you’re honoring yourself and your religion without talking about it or practicing it in a manner that imposes unfairly on co-workers.”
