Our friend Imam Tahir Anwar, leader of the South Bay Islamic Association in San Jose, will be taking a group of some 150 people from the mosque on the Hajj- the pilgrimage to Mecca. The Hajj, one of the five “pillars” of Islam, involves a series of rituals and observances as Muslims gather from around the world.
