The Golden Rule

Scarboro Missions, a Canadian group of Catholic priests and lay people, has created an interactive on-line introduction to thirteen religious traditions, from Zoroastrianism to Baha’i. For each tradition there is a brief description, along with that tradition”s formulation of “the Golden Rule” (treat others as you wish to be treated). There are a few things that will provoke quibbles– the descriptions are only one to two paragraphs each; imagine trying to capture the essence of a religious tradition in just a few words!– but overall it offers an interesting basic introduction and appreciation for some commonalities.
